Classes at The Silver Thimble

Much of what I have learned about sewing and quilting came from fellow sewists and quilters during retreats and classes. Our classroom is a relaxing place to come together and learn something new by sharing tips and techniques with each other. Having a little fun and food while doing it doesn't hurt either!

Classes: Get a group of three together and we will schedule a class for you. If you see a sample in the store that you would like to have taught as a class, we can do that for you. All instructor fees must be paid at the time of scheduling the class.

Open Sew: is still available for $3 per person.  You can use our classroom to work on any craft projects that you like.  Get a group of friends together and spend an uninterrupted day having fun.  We have several restaurants close by for a lunch break.

Simple Whatnots Club:

This club will meet on the 4th Saturday each month from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The focus of each meeting will be on the theme of helping hands. There are eight project patterns which are free with the purchase of the corresponding kit. The cost of each kit varies based on its contents. Members may decide each month if they wish to purchase the kit. Club members wishing to pre-pay for all eight kits will receive January’s Twirligigs kit free ($25 value). There will not be any sewing during the meetings, however, members may stay after and use the classroom for open sew to work on the club projects for free.
